EARTH: THE BOOK

This book is as funny as I expected from the Daily Show crew. I get several laughs on every page. It's laid out like a faux Earth Science textbook, and is a post-human-extinction historical account/user's manual for whoever finds Earth after we're gone. Even the Table of Contents is funny! There are a lot of captioned and annotated pictures on each page, so it's easy to just read a few pages and set it aside. For you parents out there, I'd say it's not suitable for kids. There are explicit photos throughout (sexually explicit or pics with blood/gore/depictions of guns/violence) and lots of explicit language. But for an adult, I think it's sharp, witty, punny and side-splitting. Great comedy writing throughout.
